Hey Everyone!

Hope your enjoying the Spring weather.  Here in sunny California the sun is sweetly kissing us in the nicest way.  It has got me thinking about taking off somewhere to an exotic location, enjoying the breeze, and sipping on an ice cold cocktail...

But then I realize that my bank account would not allow such a thing, and while everyone else is in the Bahamas, I'll be stuck at home.  So, what is a girl to do??? 

Take a "Staycation"!! Take a Sunday to laze around at your neighbors pool and lounge on an inflatable doughnut.  Grab a blender, whip up some pina coladas, and sit in the backyard with your favorite playlist blasting on your jambox.  You hold the power to make your staycation one of the best Spring breaks you've ever had.

My next editorial is all about Bright colors, beach and day trippin'.  It will be the guidebook on how to make your "Staycation" look better than Aunt Mary's typical vacation...

High Glamour Diet Editorial

Hey Everyone!

Here are the final edits of my work these past few weeks.  It was a lot of work putting this editorial together.  I am proud to say I put the whole thing together myself, but an assistant would have helped tremendously.  My mom, Gloria, and her neighbor, Lyse were my models.  I sourced all my props from local thrift stores, and used a lot of my own jewelry.  Check out the finished editorial:

A Glamorous Mood..

Hey Everyone...
 My very first editorial shoot is scheduled for tomorrow. I am excited to see the end result of this project.  Here is a peek at the inspiration behind my accessories shoot. I created these three inspiration boards to communicate the mood of my accessories editorial. Think GLAMOROUS, LUXURIOUS AND SOPHISTICATED. Vitamin GLS is a vital part to every glam queen's diet.

Undiscovered Locale

...We constantly live day to day in our own neighborhoods without realizing the beauty that lives right around the corner...

I took some time to discover the tiny treasures within reach of my own day to day and found out that anytime I want to escape the mundane, I can just step outside my door and find solace.  Here is a look book of my own undiscovered locale... or should I say discovered?

Located right off of El Toro Road in Lake Forest, California.

Another enriching escape from the "same old, same old" Locale: Portola Hills in the canyons, off of El Toro Road.

So... take some time out when you have the chance.  Discover a new locale that exists just steps, blocks or a few miles from where you live.  It might be a forest, creek, river or enchanted cove under a tunnel.  When you feel like the glamour is slipping away and you need to take some time away, find an undiscovered locale.
